WOYWW 124


I bought a canvas kit for a friend and on inspection when I got it home there was a tear in the canvas so I kept it and glued some book pages on with gel medium. When that dried I painted it with Gesso.
The next step was using my Broken China Distress Stain followed by Picket Fence.
It is drying while I plan my layout.

    Great use of something that wasn't quite perfect - I hate throwing stuff away.. Loved the Comedy carpet from the previous post, some of my favourites feature there :)

    It’s such a pain when you get stuff home it’s damaged or there’s bits missing but at least you were able to patch you’re up. I had a similar experience with a new kettle this week and had to take it back.

    I look forward to seeing what you do with the canvas but for starters I love the colours you’ve used.
