Marriage in the family

My youngest daughter got married.

The wedding was held at Lytham Hall. Lytham St Annes.

Outside our house. The bridesmaid is my 6 year old granddaughter.

Bits and pieces made in the last 2 years mostly at Stamp Club.

Canvas made with my deer stencil. I used lots of Texture Paste and glitter. I made it at home to display at Port Sunlight last October.

My first attempt at Water Colour painting. I went to a class while we were on a cruise in December. It is a copy of a Cezanne. We had to choose something from the teachers photos. The ones she had were very small and I had to sketch it on an A5 piece of water colour paper. With a limited choice of colours and only 2 paint brushes I managed to produce this.

Janette Warburton 1954- 2014

Two years ago today my sister died. My muse died the same day.

I have struggled to make things. I have been to stamp club a few times and was ok when I was there with other stampers, but at home I did nothing but read. I have read over 200 books in the last 2 years.

My DH has designed some new MDF products to be released in The Netherlands a week on The 9th April at the Art Specially event.

Here is a sneaky peek.

I had to start crafting again to prepare samples.

It is not finished yet but it is a start.

I asked him to design a box for my Sizzix strip dies and he came good. 

He used to design gas systems for British Gas so he finds it a cinch.

Hopefully I will see some of you at Port Sunlight in May.

I created a canvas to display at the funeral of my beloved sister who died so tragically on the 29th March 2014. 

There is an empty space in my heart but I have a lifetime of memories.

Many thanks to my extended family and friends (200 thereabouts) who came to the funeral to support me and my family. It stirred my heart to see so many as the cortège approached Lytham Crematorium.

Thanks to everyone who sent cards, flowers and words of encouragement.

Made these at Vickie Stampers Monthly club.

Used lots of distress inks and Dylusions sprays.
