WOYWW 178

My work station this afternoon. I was working on a couple of journal pages while my granddaughter got stuck in to the Cuttlebug and cut me a stack of shapes. I thought I had better use some.
So Bloggers what have you got on your desk today?
Take a photo and link up with all the snoopers at The Stamping Ground.

I think I am finished with these now.
Still not quite finished the joiner has been here all day putting all the finishing touches to it. Hopefully I can actually use it tomorrow and unpack my boxes and load the units.
Tomorrow is my 37th Wedding Anniversary so I have to sort a card for Himself.
Where did the time go????????????/
I used mesh Tape from B and Q and painted it.
I painted the stems then the flowers with my fan brush.
Just using up bits of paint left in my dabbers.

Love those pages especially the last ones. Very creative and clever.
Have to remember when my honoury grand-daughter comes to play to get her cutting shapes with the bigshot. A great help.

The kitchen is looking awesome! I had to re-read the post, at first I thought it said your granddaughter 'got stuck in the cuttlebug'- my first thought was 'how on earth...', then realised my mistake! My excuse is that I work shifts, have not long got up and am only on my second coffee, lol.Have a great week, Shaz #86

Some great stuff in your creative space this week, Carol. I love your journal pages - beautiful colours! I haven't come across mesh tape, but you've got a great effect with it. Also, your kitchen is looking totally gorgeous! Bet you can't wait to get stuck in once you've filled your cabinets etc.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog. I'm getting on pretty well with the photos but still quite a few go go! As for melting the tape, I tried that a while back, and unfortunately it doesn't work. Probably has a higher melting point than my heat gun or iron. I thought it would be fun to melt it so it distorted, and it could perhaps be sculpted into interesting textures, but it was surprisingly resistant to my efforts! Back to the drawing board...

Happy belated WOYWW,
