 I have been playing with my watercolour pencils and crayons making backgrounds in my travel journal.

 Added photos of a day out with 3 of my grandchildren to The Wild Boar Park in the Trough of Bowland.

 Taking advantage of the Go karts and train.

This is my workspace today. I am colouring some journal pages using watercolour pencils and crayons in a leisurely sort of way.

My workspace today. I haven't got much done as I was at the hospital in the next town having a pre-op. I am having spinal surgery in 2 weeks.

I keep mounting batches of UM's on foam core board. This stuff is very cheap at Art shops. It is easy to cut with a craft knife and metal ruler. I glue the UM's on, then stamp on paper and glue the picture on the other side.

Lino Cutting Workshop

 Went to a lino cutting workshop yesterday with my 

good friend Jo in Castleton, Rochdale.

Lucy our teacher was very helpful and our class was well organised with lots of inspiration. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and made 2 stamps.

Me cutting my quirky house. I learned not to use a soft pencil as your image gets smudged. I had to improvise a little.

Silent Screen Journal Pages

I used scraps, findings and die cuts.

I painted and spritzed and I am happy with the way they turned out.

There are a lot of layers and look so much better in the flesh.

The light is not good today as it is dark and raining.

 My work station this afternoon. I was working on a couple of journal pages while my granddaughter got stuck in to the Cuttlebug and cut me a stack of shapes. I thought I had better use some.

Still not quite finished the joiner has been here all day putting all the finishing touches to it. Hopefully I can actually use it tomorrow and unpack my boxes and load the units.

Tomorrow is my 37th Wedding Anniversary so I have to sort a card for Himself.

Where did the time go????????????/

I used mesh Tape from B and Q and painted it.

I painted the stems then the flowers with my fan brush.

Just using up bits of paint left in my dabbers.

Journal Pages

Finished these today. I used  foiling with a glue pad. on the right hand page. On the left I used stamping and embossing with Distress EP's and stencilling with paints.

WOYWW 177

 I have been working in my journal again on my Lollipop Flowers. I have more or less finished these 2 pages. They just need text. I used tiny buttons on the eyes of the birds which I cut from some German book pages and painted with yellow ink. I had to draw their legs with a felt pen.

I will do some drippage on other pages while I have my inks out.

I cannot get a lot done while my kitchen is being worked on. I need access to a sink etc

 I decided to do a few pages in my canvas journal. Not sure which way I am going with these 2 yet. It will probably come to me in the night and I will have to make a note:-)))

 Using some scraps of paper. Not glued down yet as I might stamp something first. That is what I like about journalling I can pick it up and put it down, try things out and more.

 On Monday I had my kitchen ripped out. 

Tuesday evening a few base units in place.

 And my new fridge freezer is in it's cupboard waiting for it's doors.

 Today (day three) the top cupboards are in place with doors. Left side.

The electrician is coming tomorrow.
