WOYWW 163

My Wednesday desk. I am late posting as my camera battery was exhausted. So here is my desk. I made some Shabby Chic backgrounds using fluid chalks. Remember those? To snoop other desks go to The Stamping Ground.
A friend was clearing out some stuff and gave me some Foam Core Board. DH cut it for me and I have mounted my Vertical Verses stamp set so at least I know which one I am using instead of trying to read backwards.
I will be at the Show on Sunday at Leeds Grammar School wearing my WOYWW badge

Hi Carol, I have just spent ages looking at those sayings - they are all wonderful, not seen any of them before and what a great idea to stamp on the back like that - I may just have to 'borrow' your idea. Belated Happy WOYWW, Anne x #9

Hiya, I'm on my way back, actually finished off something I started in February last weekend! Building up to WOYWW :) the weather is also looking up for the next few days (which is a good thing as we are off to a wedding in Scotland)........

Hi Carol

Been looking through your blog - I see you like swings :) Why not use up some of your scraps (snippets) and come and play in the snippets playground here? We have virtual swings, seesaws, sweets to share and a lot of silly banter.

This will take you to the roll call for last week and give you an idea of what goes on.

These stamps look great - I've been having a nosey at them! Those chalky creations are fab!

Love the sentiment stamps, and what a good idea to stamp on the back so you can recognise them easily. I've got some clear ones (don't use clear stamps much these days) and they're almost impossible to read!

You have the dubious honour of being the last on the WOYWW list for this week, and the greater honour (lol lol!!) of being the last person I visit this week! After being so hopeless at visiting more than a handful for the past few weeks, I've made a huge effort this week and visited every single one!! Phew. It won't last.

Anyway, that's why this is such a terribly belated happy WOYWW greeting!

Ooops! Just reloaded Julia's blog page and since I commented, there are several more additions to the WOYWW list! Ah well.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog, Carol - yes, the Dylusions inks are gorgeous. I think some sprays clog because they've got mica in them. These are certainly lovely to use and no problems with the spray bottles at all!

Thanks for your comment, Carol. Glad you've got some of the inks too. If you haven't got a green, just mix the blue and yellow if you've got those - it gives a fabulous rich green! Most of the flowers I'm making will be going to Australia, to Judy (Judy's Fabrications) for the swap we're doing, and the rest will probably go in my stash, to be brought out on an ad hoc basis for projects. I've had to set them aside this week as my hubby reminded me about an 80th birthday card I have to make by the weekend - still Dylusions, but butterflies this time - and lots with my Cougar cutting machine.
