Hire a boat, cross the lake and enter the village of Giethoorn. 

No cars here just boats and bicycles.

The scenery is beautiful and the village is immaculate.

I am back. It is 7 weeks since I had major surgery on my spine. 

I am easing myself back into crafting again.

Stitches Trade Show NEC

Just sharing a few photos from the show. They show presentation is everything.

For those that do not know I had spinal surgery on the 6th February. No bending or lifting etc so I am unable to do any crafting.

Workshop Vickie Stampers

On the 2nd February I taught 2 card styles a Workshop at VS Stamp Club.

We played with 2 techniques Serigraph and Tone on Tone 

to make the 

2 card designs shown above.

Steampunk Book

Created this today for a swap piece. 

I used TH envelope die and distress inks for the pages.

I used Metallic Stain on the cover and a Copper Dabber on the gears with Black Soot Distress Ink.

I hammered the gears with a texture hammer.

The 6 pages contain 6 ATC's

I have missed a few weeks helping my daughter move to her new house.

Last week I went to London with DH and youngest DD.

The picture below shows more of a creative chaos than a desk,

 Below are some photos from last week. We managed to fit in Westminster Abbey at £18.60 entrance fee per person. Free for moi in the wheelchair. Also The Tower of London and Hampton Court.

I cannot get to my desk as I am re-organising my craft room.

I haven't blogged for awhile as I was supposed to have an operation and it was cancelled. My eldest GD was poorly with tonsillitis and she stayed with me for a week. We made some cards together. 

Youngest GD has chicken pox so I am baby sitting again. Youngest grandson had a bad asthma attack and ended up in A and E.

So I hope this year is better than 2012 and I finally get my operation.
