WOYWW January 26th

This week I am in California as I am attending CHA at the weekend.

I am staying with a good friend who has a retail business.

I am sleeping on a blow up bed in a stock room so I did a little shopping before I went to sleep. The three photos below are of my 'bedroom'. Scroll down to the desk.

I played with a couple of techniques and tried Copics for the first time. I am used to the Promarkers we have in the UK so it was useful to compare

Cosmic Shimmers and Salt

I was playing with Cosmic Shimmers and Rock Salt for the background on this card. The Art Deco Ladies stamp is from my own stamp range.

Beaded ATC swap

I took part in a swap group recently and we had to add beads to our ATC's. I used seed beads.The sewing stamped one is my favourite. i used the beads to make a little button card. Sewing stamps are from my own stamp range.

WOYWW January

Well I am over the virus now and back to making art. I am in the middle of constructing a Corset Book. I started this on Saturday at Vickie Stampers and I am doing a little more work on this and some other bits and pieces.

These are some of the items Howard carter would have seen when he broke through the seal into the first chamber and put a lighted candle through. He said he saw "wonderful things".

WOYWW December 22nd

I am back and I went to The Gambia.

I have caught a virus so not crafting till I feel better.

I stroked the crocodile and it was dry and lumpy for those that asked. I will be back when I get over this bug. My throat is like sandpaper:-((((

Where am I

I have shaken hands with a crocodile. Yes it is a real one, they have been fish fed so not interested in humans. LOL

I have eaten the best fish and chips here on the Atlantic coast in my whole life.
